ORPHANS HANDS

Natalia's Story

Read the Transcript

Hi, my name is Natalia. My life was hard since my childhood. I have two brothers, and both of them are sick, mentally and physically. My parents could not take care of them, and because of this they were sent to an orphanage, and I didn't meet them. When I was six years old, my father died, and from that time I lived with my mother, who suffers from polyarthritis. I had to be strong — I had to take care of my mother, of my house, of school.

Many times I was feeling that I was alone, that I couldn't pass through different problems, that no one supported me. But always, as by a miracle, I could pass over all obstacles. When I was most in need, different strangers were coming and helping me with clothes, money, food, and with good words. Then I didn't understand why they did all of this — why they helped me when my real relatives didn't. But now I understand that all of this was the beautiful work of God.

I was full of sorrow, but now I'm strong. I didn't have anything, but God gave me everything. He watched over me. He protected me from the evil of this world. And even now He helps me to fulfill my dream to become a doctor.

When I met God, I understood how lucky I am, because I have such a caring Father. Because of this, I urge you to give Him your hearts, because He will give you back a happy heart, full of peace and full of His grace.
