From Poverty to Purpose

Something extraordinary is happening at Vatra Village. The very young people who were once rescued — many from abandonment, poverty, and brokenness — are now the ones going back out to serve. They are feeding hungry families, reaching forgotten children, and carrying hope into places that feel hopeless.
Two of them are Tudor and Ana. Not long ago they had almost nothing — one of them can still point to a field where a home once stood. Today they are among the young people who load up and drive out to the villages, carrying clothing, food, and the love of Jesus to families living at the very edge of hope.

Picture the moment. A van pulls up to a poor house in a forgotten village. The doors open, and clean, joyful young people step out, unloading bags and boxes — new clothes, shoes, food, school supplies. A weary mother smiles, then laughs, perhaps for the first time in a long while. And in that sacred moment, the young missionaries who were strangers minutes before begin to share their own stories of abandonment, and how Jesus filled the void in their hearts.

The orphan spirit is being transformed into a heart of generosity. Orphans are becoming sons and daughters — and sons and daughters are becoming missionaries.
This outreach doesn’t continue without support. Food must be bought, transportation provided, and resources placed into their hands so they can keep going. Right now we have an opportunity to expand this work — to reach more families, feed more children, and empower more of these young people to lead. This is what happens when love is lived out, and you are a vital part of it.
